Saga Spark is built by Shawn Embry, founder and CEO. He was born and raised in Georgia, spent time in Seattle and Nuremberg, Germany, served in the Air Force, and has worked in IT since 2009.
The product grew out of a love of books shared with his wife and a belief that many great stories are still waiting to be finished. Saga Spark was built to help writers get across that finish line with one place for drafting, story planning, continuity tracking, plotting templates, book outlining, and revision support.
AI has found its way into the modern writing conversation, but here it is meant to stay optional and carefully bounded. Saga Spark is designed so the writer keeps ownership of the voice, the choices, and the final work.
